October in the Story Time (preschool) classroom
October 18, 2012 | Curriculum
The past two weeks have been packed with fun things to do. Last week we dyed scarves by “smooshing” them into the mason jars and pouring cool aid into the jars. For a two year old it’s magical to watch a white scarf turn into an orange scarf before your very eyes!
There has also been plenty of play time outside, more tea parties in the sunflower house, and nature walks on the trail.
Last week we went to ECHO and played in the pirate ship, gazed at fish and turtles, and played in the lighthouse room. We even managed to have a picnic snack outside under the shelter. We also had lots of fun on the field trip to Shelburne Museum the other day.
