We will also go on adventures during the week…these wanders may include exploring our 30 acre property, the trails around our neighborhood (probably visiting the Secret Forest), and maybe even over to Bread and Butter Farm!

Who:

Campers:

We invite all students who are in Kindergarten through 8th grade to join us during camp. We will provide age appropriate activities for everyone including mixed age activities and some activities specially suited for different ages!

Staff:

Our staff are teachers, educators, fun-havers, adventurers, and crafters. We all share the passion of engaging with youth in meaningful ways. We all receive training in childhood development, social-emotional youth development, conflict mediation, and all the ways to have fun!

Why:

Whether there’s snow, mud or grass on the ground, we will have many opportunities to cope with cabin fever, be outside and get Spring into our bones! Serving a wide range of students and interests, we work hard to make sure everyone is having a good time!

  • We plan arts and crafts projects including painting, pottery, block construction, tinkering, etc,
  • play games from the game shelf (chess tournaments, board game afternoons, cards and more cards),
  • our gym is well equipped for dodgeball, king pin, rock climbing and obstacle courses, and
  • when we get outside the options seem endless with play structures, sledding, fort building, bird watching, hide and seek, etc.

Our schedule mimics that of the school day and afterschool to help with a smooth transition into the camp week and back to school. Here is an example of our schedule:
